You should swim, just avoid the Amazon river basin. That river is full of things that can eat you and make you feel very sick!

When I worked in Manaus ( the capital of the Amazon State) I went to visit some places in the midle of the forest. One day, we were in a small boat and a big storm was coming toward us. OMG... I thought that day would be my last one.

Thank God, we had only a normal rain. But, you know... if I had to swimming in that river, I would not be here today to tell this story. ;)

At least, I had the opportunity to have this view at the end of the day .:)

Yeah, I could not believe how people go out in those little boats. Here boats are big and no river weather would be a problem. If I lived by a river with all those dangerous creatures, I would get a big boat for sure - the biggest :)
