I just showed students how they can create an unforgettable memory. Imagine going to the store and not forgetting anything. Imagine storing up to 10, 20 or even more items in your mind and never forgetting them.

Follow these steps.

First, I need to assign 10 consonants to numbers 0 to 9. Write these down somewhere. Write them in stone if you have to. These 10 consonants cannot change for this system to work.

1 = t,d,th
2 = n
3 = m
4 = r
5 = l
6 = sh,ch
7 = k, hard c & g
8 = f,v
9 = p,b
0 = z,r,s

Now we need to assign a peg to each number using these 10 consonants. Here are mine:

1 = tie
2 = noah
3 = ma
4 = rye
5 = law
6 = shoe
7 = cow
8 = ivy
9 = bee
10 = toes
11 = tot
12 = ton
13 = tomb
14 = tire
15 = dial
16 = dish
17 = tack
18 = dove
19 = tub
20 = nose

I went and created 20 pegs. Once you have yours, just memorise them. In fact your only homework assignment is to memorise 10 memory pegs. You only need to go back to the 10 consonant sounds if you need to create more pegs.

Last thing for you to do now is to create crazy or outrageous links. I want you to know remember 10 random items by creating a crazy unforgettable link. FOr example, for number 7, think of a cow eating something in large quantities or being eaten for example.

They do. You have to do this or the other lessons will not work. Remember, I talked about numbers?

Start with my pegs and and substitute for the ones that work for you. The pegs need to be in English too.
